Wasn't he technically the first black POTUS?Fred Zed said:I think Clinton used to average 83% black vote. The colour of the candidate makes very little difference which way the black vote goes.

And the poster isn't racist at all for calling Obama "Osama"!!poonhunter said:LOL ...dajado2 guess why some people voted for McCain?
The idiot it seems is you Assterix.Asterix said:You're an idiot. African-Americans consistently vote over 90% for the Democratic presidential candidate and have for decades. To say that 96% voted for him just because he is black is assinine.
Then why do these blacks agree with his platform?S.C. Joe said:Black people are not dumb, they know who their friends are, "my friend" McCain was not their friend for the last 30 years.
What article? You aren't doing much to alter my original opinion of you. Reread your above statement and tell me how it makes any sense.dajodo2 said:I never said that almost all black voters voted for osama because he's black, the blacks that voted did.
Read what you posted.mmouse said:A stupid troll by dajado2, the most racist piece of dogshit on terb.
What I think you missed in your analogy is "white people voting for mcain because he's white, and black people voting for obama because he's black. Totally different meaning than what you proposed. Sorry, a person voting for someone based on the colour of their skin is racist, no matter how you slice it.Rylan said:If white people said they voted for McCain because he was white, that would be considered racist, but because black people vote for OBAMA (not osama) then it is not considered racist. No one is going to say that a black man is racist for voting for a black president or for even voting to prevent a white president. There will be tons of arguments to defend the action.
Personally, racist votes or not, I am glad that Obama was elected.

Reminds me of the Miss Black Canada Pageant, or the Harry Jerome Awards.Rylan said:It is racist no matter, but the "reality" is - Blacks can vote based on color, and whites can't.
You started the thread brain boy. Show me a credible source that says 96% of African-American voters said they voted for Obama only because he is black, Globe or otherwise.dajodo2 said:There is nothing to be ashamed of in taking a night school class and brushing up on English language and reading skills son.
I'm not going to take you by the hand and spell it out for you.
The words I joined together make sence.
The article is not hard to find...don't be so lazy.

"About 90% of African-Americans were expected to have voted, with a similarly overwhelming percentage of them supporting Mr. Obama. In Florida, exit polling showed 98% of blacks voted for Mr. Obama."
No mention of "because he is black"
Your You Tube posting with Harold Stern is so trite and trivial. Was it an actual interview? how many people did they interview to find this one? Was the 'interviewee' actually black? you don't know, I don't know and nobody on this board knows for sure.
Barack Obama was elected not just by black voters, but by whites, latinos, chinese and as many as many ethnic groups as there are in the USA.
It was time for a change, this eloquent and intelligent man overcame major hurdles to convince people of all races and colours he was the person to bring change. If Canadians had been able to vote he would have won here in a landslide.
McCain spent his campaign desperately trying to present something, anything to bring Obama down, he made incredible blunders. Palin, perhaps was the largest. The Fox News/Rush Limbaugh vitriolic crowd did everything they could but Obama stayed on his message, gave people hope, took the high road and ultimately became POTUS.
I hope and we all should hope he gets to deliver on his promise, this is a difficult time and like it or not much in our lives depends on this man.
Have you listened to Obama's speeches, and then McCain's? Who talks smarter, and makes more sense?????dajodo2 said:People seem to be looking at that clown like he's the second coming of Christ.
