Tomorrow could be another disaster.

80% is unlikely but 50-60% is definitely in the cards. The fed won’t cut because of inflation due to tariffs. Markets will absolutely crater when they realize this.
Will sell tomoraw some stocks as it appears that china will not cave to Trump. This could last at least 6 months or more.80% is unlikely but 50-60% is definitely in the cards. The fed won’t cut because of inflation due to tariffs. Markets will absolutely crater when they realize this.
China and the US need to make a deal, but neither is backing down.
I think we have proven the Expectations Theory for market valuation. Neat to see theory learned in undergrad is real! That was a really impressive rally, considering it was fueled by nothing but hopeium. Hopeium dreams quickly turned into hopeium screams. Today will go down in infamy as "a regular Tuesday".
A 3.5% GIC that does not beat inflation after taxes is looking mighty attractive now.
There is no fucking way those close to Trump didn't know about the timing. Complete market manipulation. That's what this is entirely about.
My thoughts too. It's crazy how stocks jumped 8% before the tariff pause was even announced. I was following news and markets very closely. The announcements didn't come until about 20 minutes after the rally.
It's so bogus and so predictable , UGH. Especially that day Trump tweeted about the crypto reserve and then the next day talked about tariffs, the whole day to bring the pump back down, UGH !The tariffs never had to do with fentanyl or deficits. He tanked the markets on purpose and knew he could send them back up again. Only he and his inner circle knew the timing. This market manipulation is illegal.
Bam, time to cancel your Netflix next week. This rally won't last.Bam, the good times are back. Time to uncancel my NetFlix account.
Presidential immunity is the concept that a sitting president of the United States has both civil and criminal immunity for their official acts.[a] Neither civil nor criminal immunity is explicitly granted in the Constitution or any federal statute.[1][2] However, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled in Trump v. United States (2024) that all presidents have absolute criminal immunity for official acts under core constitutional powers, presumptive immunity for other official acts, and no immunity for unofficial acts. The court made this decision after former President Trump claimed absolute immunity from being investigated for any crimes committed while in office.[3][4]The tariffs never had to do with fentanyl or deficits. He tanked the markets on purpose and knew he could send them back up again. Only he and his inner circle knew the timing. This market manipulation is illegal.
