It's a rant people. By definition, it doesn't pretend to be nuanced and to account for the positives, and it usually comes out of temporary frustration or anger.

There are lots of jobs that include among the job requirements faking a certain level of intimacy. Most of them, of course, require only a very shallow level of fake intimacy, and don't have it as the main requirement of the job, but there does seem to be a pattern of people in such jobs bitching about the customers. Professors bitch all the time about the students we're suppose to act like we care about (not that we don't really care about any of them, but it's part of the job to pretend we care about them all equally, and it can be very stressful and frustrating keeping that up with the really annoying ones). It may be that all we should conclude here is that in a job which makes a much higher level of fake intimacy basically the core of the job description, the level of bitching about customers can rise in proportion.
Indeed. And that's why there's an entire section of CL devoted to people ranting about the annoyances of their daily life. Not all those people are bitter, angry, arrogant assholes.

Profs and TAs have their own collective blog devoted to bitching about their students: http://rateyourstudents.blogspot.com/

And the Profs and TA's come across as reasonable, intelligent people who are frustrated by having to cope with cretinous students. Unlike the woman from Denver who just comes across like a bitter, vicious, vile, screwed up piece of work.

Very well said. Good thing this Denver escort did not list her website or post her picture with the rant. Otherwise, her escorting income will go from $5,000.00 a week to zero easily. This woman has serious psychological issues. Escorting, just like any other service industry, should involve excellent customer service. Given her disturbed mind, it is doubtful that she can provide superior customer service that commands $500 minimum an hour. Knowing her contemptuous, at the sewer level rant, who would go to her for a feel good fantasy other than those who are mentally deranged themselves? *Insert roll eye smilie*

True Genevieve. But as Oagre posts they come across as rational people. Still I'm glad that when I was in the T.A. stage of life I wasn't on such a blog.

One of the few analogies I can think of between the Denver rant and the blogsite you mention would be posting abusive comments about Undergraduates who had come to you about problems that were distressing them. "I'm really good at Math but I'm flunking your history course". Or "I'm really good at talking in class but I just hit a block when I'm writing a paper" or vis versa. All of these things may be frustrating when one is teaching, some of it may be the result of an obnoxious personalty but to assume that everyone has an obnoxious personality. . .

Very well said. Indeed I sorry to say (for her sake) that I'd bet real money that an experience with her is frankly miserable.

If she hates escorting so much, why doesn't she go to secretary school, or nursing school or some other type of job school? Surely, the extra $$ from escorting can't - or at least, shouldn't - be worth the aggravation of putting up with us dirty men getting into her pants.

But of course, any other, new job she ever got into, she would quit or be fired in the first couple of days because she is a lazy, hateful, arrogant bitch. So she would go back to escorting and be even more bitter.
Very well said, Oagre.

I'm sorry about my big meaty lizard cock
And then are those with the "limp dicks" which seemingly inspires no questioning on her part about why that might be: E.D. problems , other Medical conditions, anxiety, her personality. Nor seemingly does she attempt any intelligent conversation about it.

And since this is typically a cause of great emotional distress, I'm sure her caring compassionate attitude is of great help.
