Rasmussen's daily tracking reported on Thursday (Jan. 4) that Trump's approval rating was the highest it has been since June 2017. From what I can see, his support is consistent with what he had in the 2016 election.

If Mexico doesn't pay for the wall directly - then Trump once again lied (hard to believe for Trump fans). A tariff on goods does not directly impact Mexico at all. The money is paid by the companies importing the goods and by extension - the american people. If the tariff forces companies to manufacture /import from other countries (via the new tax incentives for companies off shore investments) - there is no tariff and the wall is not built.

Oh sorry - Trump celebrations ... Yes, Trump is now slightly less popular than before !!! Is it too soon to propose changing the name of the country from USA to Trump ??? I call it "extortion" when someone holds 3/4 million innocent people hostage and demands $$$$ for a vanity nutbar project in return for dealing with them honourably and compassionately.
