Maybe I misunderstand. If the RCMP is investigating Canadians who are alleged to by involved in war crimes in Gaza, that's a little different.

I assumed that the RCMP was told to investigate the Israeli govt and the IDF in general..
I'm not sure why. That isn't even really implied even in the headline of the article.

(And note that it is still a "structural investigation", not a criminal one.)

The ICC threw out Israel's challenge to the ICC charges of extermination laid against Israeli leaders.
Their argument, Israel has no right to challenge the jurisdiction of a court it won't accept as legit.

Meanwhile, Palestine is a UN member and accepts the jurisdiction so the charges against Israel continue.
Israel is a rogue nation.

The Court is once again seized with the question of its territorial jurisdiction in the Situation in the State of Palestine. This time, the matter arises under the auspices of article 19(2)(c) at the behest of a State that has never accepted, and openly declares it will never accept, the jurisdiction of the Court. Its purported request for review is therefore manifestly inadmissible

ICC is so legit with its chief prosecutor the honourable Cream Khan facing sexual assault allegations, is that where RCMP is gonna get its intelligence from?

ICC prosecutor steps aside until sexual misconduct probe ends

Did you read the last paragraph:

According to a source with knowledge of internal decision-making, Canada’s RCMP has been pushed since 2024 to open a war crimes probe into Hamas and Palestinians in the Gaza war. This has since expanded to include Israeli Canadians.

So who was pushing RCMP to open the war crimes probe in 2024, this is definitely the idea of Justin Turdeau's liberals, why start any investigation at all? Answer: to please the Muslim voters.

A structural investigation is a broad, intelligence-led intake process designed to collect, preserve, and assess information potentially relevant under Canada's Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act .

So where the hell are they gonna gather intelligence? By reading Al Jeezra and listening to Gazan officials aka Hamas, must be very credible.

Whether this is true or not, the following are true:
a) Israeli Canadians have fought in Gaza as part of the IDF.
b) The IDF has committed war crimes.
So the RCMP is justified in investigating if any Canadian was involved in committing war crimes.
If found to be the case, it could lead to criminal charges, as it should.
So your fabricated claims on intent don't really matter.
The RCMP does not owe you answers on exactly how they pursue such investigations or what methods they use.
They are a mature police force and they know how to proceed with an investigation and you are not qualified to speak on such procedures anyway.

Opinions are like assholes, even the RCMP has one, you're free to lick which ever you like.

Sorry for speaking out against our mature police force that couldn't even catch a trapper without the help of a flying ace.

You could check IDF lists and social media of people who spent time in Israel during the genocide.
That would be worth it rather than have Canada deal with genocidal types on the streets.

They're investigating to cater to the local Muslims and keep their votes.
50% of Canadians say Israel is committing genocide, not just Muslims.
And nobody votes for the RCMP.

The RCMP is just supposed to watch out for genocidal racists.
