Wishful thinking
Chosing an agent is like chosing an SP only in this case you are looking not to get fcuked
First off - feel comfortable with the agent - chemistry has to be there.
Then - commissions are 5% - don't look for a bargain - your agent will earn their pay -
Finally - don't get fooled by a high sale price - the house won't sell, you need an agent that will give you a thoughtful justification for your selling price - based on comparables in your area.
Finally - this is getting boring - so tell her to grow up and live in the real world.
Your friend really is naive. All agents will work for her - My guess is her problem is the chemistry with the agent - did she take the agent that promised her the highest price or the one with the lowest commission rate.Hulk said:thanks my friend now regrets having an open house since it seems like a waste of time! Also if she switched the agent what is the qualities to look for when looking for an agent? Thanks
