Was that Belgium that did that or the Soviet Union? I think your standards of measurement need a little honing. You might consider a historical perspective that's a little longer than the latest issue of the Economist.
Any third world country with a nuclear weapon may be able to explode that weapon but to what benefit. You believe they can vaporize us. I guarantee you that the maintenance on their nuclear arsenal is such that in all probability that those missiles designed to hit Washington will hit Toronto..then what will you do pucker up like the ******* you are. They get the first strike off and what happens to them...we have superior targeting capability and guess what, ours will hit what they're supposed to hit. In other words, moot point. Within five minutes of confirmed launch, Moscow is history...but a peabrain like you doesn't understand those points. The Soviets watched in awe as we took apart their war plans and training of the Iraqi troops. They are a feckless military power..period. You might be that stupid. They wouldn't dare do it. We proved that during the cold war standoff. I can understand why you don't appreciate that. You folks in Canada were too busy living off the free lunch supplied by the US. If I were President, I'd make you pay for recent non-support. You couldn't so much as reply back to this message without the benifit of technology invented here in these United States. Your sorry ass universal health care wouldn't be possible if you had to spend at the level required to protect the borders of the second largest country in the world. You couldn't manage an immigration policy if you had a border with a poor nation like Mexico. And now that we're past that Cold War crisis, you play like it didn't exist. I'll have you know that we are spending hundreds of millions of dollars trying to help that third world nation with nukes be responsible for their maintenance and disposal. Be glad about that. One of your fellow citizens who immigrated with landed status may be up there now with a Soviet issue weapon and not quite trained on how to keep it from exploding before he crosses our heretofor relatively unprotected borders. Thus you site our recent failure of the space shuttle, a project infinitely more complex than a simple 1960's capsule technology represented by the Soyuz. And btw I don't even remember the Soviets flying an unmanned satellite past the moon, yet it seems to me we put men there. Where's the love?
