Scheer never revealed that he held dual citizenship after raising concerns about former governor general Michaëlle Jean holding both Canadian and French passports in a 2005 blog post. During the election campaign, Scheer said that he was in the process of dropping his American citizenship.

One guy hid it right up until the end of the campaign, then said he might drop his US citizenship it if we vote him in. The other guy dropped his other citizenships right away.

I don`t remember that. All I remember is that after 2 seconds of listening to Andrew, everyone knew he had no chance! He is a dork.

Scheer had US citizenship.

Carney has British and Irish citizenship

HUGE difference.

The UK is our family, Ireland is a friend, the US is neither of these things.

Is that what you are telling yourself to avoid coming to terms with your own hypocrisy?

Any idea why Carney moved his business to the US if they are neither a friend or family?

Its not HIS BUSINESS, he was an EMPLOYEE it was not his decision, it was made by the Board of Directors.

btw do you think Carney will go through with that and complete the process if he loses the election? Do you think he'll even stay on as leader of the party?

HE WAS THE CHAIR OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS WHEN THE DECISION WAS MADE. OMFG!

Then he lied about that and was caught.

And nice of him to avoid paying taxes to Canada as well. If Poilievre did that you would be having a stroke....

Sheer never completed the process, he only started it when it came out and did not complete it. He is still a dual citizen .🤷‍♂️
