Since it came up in another thread, I will post this here. Veterans can be wounded emotionally, as well as physically.
A couple weeks ago, some random posted on a history group that a Victoria Cross winner from the Battle of Rorke's Drift (the movie Zulu from the 1960's) was a suicide victim and was denied burial in the village church graveyard for that reason. That started a conversation about PTSD in the group.

In memory of all the Canadians who lost their lives in the defence of freedom and all the victims of war.
I went out to the bank and to grab a bite for lunch this afternoon. It saddened me to see the vast majority of people walking around without wearing a poppy. All walks of life. Ignorance.
