I was wondering If anyone would know how to delete cds off of an ipod nano? I would try but I would probably screw it up.

Well, for one thing you can't have cds on your ipod. A cd is a hard plastic disc about 4" in diameter and an ipod nano is only about 1" x 3".

First of all, to clarify, you downloaded the songs, not the cds. If you want to remove the songs, you have to sync your ipod to itunes and there should be a section under sync options to select which songs you want on your nano.

Why don't people answer questions.....

Go into iTunes, make sure that you select the preference to only "sync" checked items. Uncheck the "CD" you no longer want on the iPod and then sync the iPod.

Sorry Rub, I'd give the same response if someone wanted to put a gas station into their car....DOH. (btw: I seem to recall you correcting me on more than one occasion when I used the wrong nomenclature)

There is another thread around here on the software you speak of. Not sure where it is and the OP can do a search for it if he's so inclined. (not Itunes, the one that allows you to basically "hack" into it to copy songs instead of syncing)
