Removing Magnetic Glue??

Well, seeing as I saw some great suggestions about the wax, I figured this would be the place to ask.

I have a vehicle that was advertising with magnetic signs.

I have taken them off and I was wondering if anybody knows what I could use to get the glue off. You can tell that there were signs there, kinda looks like a film of some sort and I want to make it all back to normal again.

Paint thinner, but be careful not to ruin the finish on the car.

there is a product that we use in the graphic industry called "right off" that's perfect for your application....my neighbour recently pulled all his pinstriping off and I offered him some "right off" to clean up the residue

It's used to clean and remove any residue when removing vehicle wraps . It's also pretty aggressive at getting glues off without ruining paint finishes. even aggressive velcro glue.

thinners can be used but be sure to wipe the surface with soapy water right after. Isopropyl Alcohol or Acetone can also be used.

Cooking oil will remove most glues without harming the underlying surface. Just wash with soap and water afterwards

My suggestion is to go to a Rona store and get their de-greaser and wipe off as much glue as possible. (leave the de-greaser on for a few minutes before wrinsing) if this does not help than you have to polish the paint with a polisher paste (can be founf at Canadian Tire) and then wax it afterwards.
