I worked for a couple agencies in the past and I always felt like I wasn't getting paid enough. 60 to the agency, 25 to the driver, tipping the receptionist and after all was said and done I had not much $ left.
One agency I worked for encouraged us to ask for tips. And we would, but I never felt right charging extra for extras when the guy already paid the fee the agency quoted over phone.
Needless to say she shut down her business after some time as she wasn't getting very good reviews.
That was not in Ottawa that was somewhere else.

I went to Montreal in November and worked for an agency because I wanted to see what business was like there. I didn't like how much I got at the end of the call when I had to fork over x amount of dollars to the driver to cover his fee and the agency fee, it put me in a bad mood all the while the driver is taking me to my next call. I did a few calls with the agency and said nope not doing things this way and went back to working as an indy. I understand where you guys are coming from I really do, but I will never work for an agency ever again.
Hi Alma which agency did you work for out of curiosity? I live in the Montreal area.
Sorry I missed you. ;) 🐺

For me honestly, its less about cost and more about logistics. I'm absolutely willing to pay the indy rate but downtown is just a huge negative for me. Prior to covid, working in the downtown core with so many colleagues there watching, there was absolutely no way to be discreet during the day. So both Indy and Agency doesn't matter much if there is a risk to discretion.

So now (or pre covid) I look for options outside of areas where I will be easily recognized going into a hotel, or residential building that people know I probably shouldn't be.

The reason I personally miss SP agencies, is the same reason I enjoy MA agencies.

I can't imagine hobbying without an agency. I use Brass club and Paradise. I like browsing the web site and seeing which girl strikes my fancy. I like the established nature of it, that I can come to know what to expect. There's a professionalism and an established protocol. The idea of independents is something I'm not quite brave enough for. Leolist's terrifies me. I understand the concept of TOFTT, but I don't want a bad experience, and with an agency the worst that can happen is far less than with the unknown.

I think an SP agency in Ottawa would fill a void and do well.

Hi all,

Not sure where to post this since there doesn't seem to be a general Ottawa board...

So, I'll be moving back to Ottawa shortly after 5+ years in Montreal. In poking around briefly, Ottawa seems to have way fewer SP options than I recall from the pre-2015 era—quite underwhelming to say the least. Is there a go-to agency, especially one with higher-end girls? Mirage used to have an Ottawa section, no? All gone. While OIC has maybe 1 or 2 options of minor interest.

For those familiar with the Montreal landscape, is there anything like Euphoria or Vogue?

Thanks
SA might be the way to go...
