I had the pleasure of speaking with Dino in July, 1984, when I sneaked into the soundcheck before the first show of Little Steven and The Disciples of Soul's Voice of America tour, at Le Spectrum in Montreal.
I actually made this video clip, but it was blocked for copyright claim; now it's on Little Steven's channel, so that's OK.
Dino built the drum kit shown in the video.
