Suzanne Somers died on Sunday from breast cancer. She was 76.



"Suzanne Somers passed away peacefully at home in the early morning hours of October 15th," her representative confirmed in a statement provided to Fox News Digital.

"She survived an aggressive form of breast cancer for over 23 years."

Her representatives added, "Suzanne was surrounded by her loving husband Alan, her son Bruce, and her immediate family. Her family was gathered to celebrate her 77th birthday on October 16th.

Really wish that the whole Three's company dispute that derailed her career didn't happen. The original cast was the best.

On the John Moore show this morning on CFRB 1010 he was reminiscing about an interview he conducted with her years ago. Apparently, she held the view that big pharma companies were purposely not finding cures for cancer because it was more profitable for them under the current situation.

I never knew the reason they axed her from the show was because John Ritter was making $150,000.00 an episode. She was making $30,000.00 an episode. She went to the producers and told them she should be making roughly the same, and they offered her $35,000.00 and episode. She told them to stick it, and the last year they made a living hell for her on the set. In the end she had the last laugh as but int the company that sold the thigh master and made 300 million.

My favourite episode was the one where Chrissy was dating a chef. The time came for her to cook him dinner at home. She was petrified because she was a terrible cook, so she had Jack seceretly hide in the kitchen and do all the cooking. Everything was fine until the guy made a very slightly critical comment about one of the courses("too much sugar in the consomme"). Jack gets pissed and comes storming out of the kitchen. The name of the episode is "Cyrano de Tripper".

One of the funniest Chrissy scene was the one where she and Jack were handcuffed together at a restaurant as Jack was in a date.

Actually never really paid attention to her because I didn't find her attractive or like her personality. However. I was watching a blurb on the boob tube tonight about her. She got fired for asking for wage parity with John Ritter who was making 150 G's an episode to her 30 G's. Seems a reasonable ask after so many seasons. Don't know how much of the show she was carrying on her shoulders, but it does seem she was getting fucked. Thank God for Thigh master.

The Chrissy character during the first season was pretty much a normal girl, IIRC, the writers dumbed her down in the second season, that's when the character really took off and she and Jack carried the show IMHO. Yeah, she did deserve a considerable raise.
