Just so people are aware, Truvada is only used for HIV-1 (not HIV-2) and always in conjunction with other drugs. Used when you have it and to essentially decrease the viral load and prevent the cells from multiplying. But it is not a complete treatment and doesn't cure HIV or AIDS.

It really also is only recommended for people who have a high risk of contracting HIV-1 (unprotected sex with a partner who carries that type of the virus, etc).

Maybe I should to to Vegas and play the dice there. I have been doing this twice a week for 6 years and never an an STD. I have to get tested every 3 months for diabetes anyway so once or twice a year I ask my GP to also test for std's. I am a widower so eyebrows are not raised. The only rash I every had was from hospital following an operation. I always enjoy BBBJ, Daty and covered FS.

So true...and so irresponsible not to mention vicious. Of course the type of herpes in the cold sore matters....over 80% of people have herpes I, so if that is what it is she won't transmit it to the client if the client has already been exposed to herpes I...but if herpes II...same deal. If you haven't had it (and under 20% have been exposed to that) then you can transmit it to the genitals...herpes of any type shows up around the spot it entered the body (travels up the nerve root and hangs out in the ganglia and periodically travels back down to produce the cold sore when under stress or other triggers) so it is possible to get herpes I on the genitals if the client has never had a cold sore.
