Does your Rogers iPhone SIM card physically fit the Samsung? When I tried the iPhone a year ago, the Rogers SIM card was tiny.Any idea if I can switch my Rogers SIM card back an forth between my iPhone and Samsung to use each phone at different times?
Of course you can. I did this many times. Just make sure that the phone your are putting your sim is unlocked. i.e. not locked to a particular carrier. 2nd. make sure the size of the SIM is compatible. You can get SIM adapters if they are not. It is all basically the same chip. It is just the plastic that is different around the chip..ie..the micro, nano and regular sim...Any idea if I can switch my Rogers SIM card back an forth between my iPhone and Samsung to use each phone at different times?

Lol....one time at an airport car rental palce, after picking up my SIM I realized that I lost the pin thingie. I was fuck fuck fuck...I need the GPS on my phone for driving directions, big panic set in... so I'm like to the guy at the counter...do you have a stapler? He looks at me funny ans says yeahYup easy as pie!
Don't forget to keep one of those pin's handy to get the card out & the adaptor if the sim card sizes are different for each phone.
Most Rogers SIMs come with multiple size breakoff's now. i.e. If you need a nano SIM, just break out the most inner piece. If you need a micro SIM, break it out together with the first ring around it to make it micro SIM size. And so on. So if you have one phone that required micro SIM and one requires nano, break out the nano and save the first ring around it to make it a micro when you need it.Yup easy as pie!

Last time I did a SIM change by calling in, the Roger's rep asked what kind of phone the new SIM was going into, and muttered about there are some differences in settings on their end regarding the virtual voicemail.Of course you can. no don't cut the metal part. Only plastic part. AFIAK the SIM cutters you can buy online have adapters for the micro and nano sim sizes. HTC One M8 is a nano size. However your card maybe thicker and cutting it to size might not solve the issue if the tray is made perfectly not to allow any thickness variations. On the HTC One M8 it says it "may not" fit if you cut a non nano SIM due to thickness difference.what if the chip is slightly bigger than the sim card tray? im trying to switch the sim card i used on the samsung galaxy5 into an htc one m8 and im looking at it and the chip looks bigger than the sim card chip i found inside the htc one m8 sim card tray.
can u actually cut the sim card chip too?
