The losses of Henrik Sedin as well as heart and soul guy Johan Franzen to injury costs the Swedes a medal. Daniel will be lost without his brother. The US has some hot players heading into the games, led by Kessel, Parise and Kesler.

I'm picking Canada over Russia even with the big ice. We are too deep for their subpar defence to handle. The only way Russia wins is if Varlamov pulls a Bernier and stands on his head.

I could be wrong but I do not think the Olympic rosters are set yet by IOC rule.

You can't add a player unless a injury occurs and since they are all over there I say rosters are offically set

3-1 vs Norway not exactly the result we were hoping for but like I said in my previous post, Norway is a sleeper. I fully expect that we put at least a 6 spot up against Austria tomorrow.

The biggest beef I have right now is the benching of Matt Duchene. He is one of the best skaters we have and earlier this season Don Cherry was singing his praises as being one of the best players in the NHL. How we can't get him in our lineup is beyond me. Put him on the Crosby line and bench Carter.

I think the biggest adjustment is players having to adjust to low ice time ... It's not like everyday for them when on the team they get double shifted and accumalate 20 plus minute and the 4th line hardly plays . The fourth line on this team maybe better then most NHL
team's first line .
