Who cares, they are a bunch of inbred jackasses anyway out of touch with the world.
Here we go again, someone who knows so little about the British monarchy. Inbreeding? In modern times? How so? Give us your basis for this claim.

Let's talk about something important, like what type of tea do the royals prefer?

But depending on that person's religion, they cannot be made a monarch.

In regards to the question, Should be First born regardless of gender.

It is some way from being a "done deal."

In typical pattern the press have jumped the gun, all that has happened is that the British P.M. announced that he has gotten the other 15 P.M.'s to agree to introducing indentical legislation into their respective Parliaments, no legislation has yet been enacted. In Canada this will also require approval by all the Provinces.

Further are these votes to be free votes or whipped?

Also this is far more complex than seemingly P.M. Cameron believes it to be.

This is more complicated than Prime Minister Cameron wants to make it out to be. Canon 1125 of the current 1983 Roman Catholic Code of Canon Law requires the Roman Catholic party to promise sincerely to do all in their power to ensure that any children of the marriage will be baptized and raised as Roman Catholics. So now we have the options of the Roman Catholic party deciding to be received into the Church of England before the marriage (look at the criticism from Roman circles of Autumn Philips decision to do so), or the specter of a future Sovereign raised Roman Catholic who now refuses to be received into the Church of England before their Coronation as required by law.

This is just plain not well thought out.

They're lucky that Harry isn't the oldest brother, he doesn't have any royal blood as the offspring of Diana and James Hewitt.

What is with the world today thinking everything in the past was so wrong.

Too many changes, too fast are happening.

Unprovoked wars, gay marriages, now they want to change how queens and kings are born. WTF, we are only going to be here on earth for a short time, why such a rush to change how things were done for hundreds--thousands of years.

Why are we so sure we are right now and all those past generations were so wrong. Wasn't for them we would not be here right now.

One slight problem with this scurrilous and hurtful story is that Captain Hewitt, didn't even meet the late Princess of Wales until after Prince Harry was born!

I go out on a limb and say this is more proof how the royal family wants more control.

That Queen has prince William twisted around her finger so tight, has him postponing honeymoons cause hes gotta "work", now she want to have a granddaughter and not a son.

Think she be she just happy Diana is gone but no why stop there?

This Mervyn:

"Mr Cameron, who hosted the meeting, said: 'Nor does it make any sense that a potential monarch can marry someone of any faith other than [Roman] Catholic. The thinking behind these rules is wrong. That’s why people have been talking about changing them for some time. We need to get on and do it.’ The removal of the barrier to the heir to the throne marrying a [Roman] Catholic does not affect the position of the Anglican Church as the established Church.

The Queen and future monarchs will be Anglicans and Supreme Governor of the Church of England.

the Government will introduce legislation to change the 1701 Act of Settlement, the Bill of Rights 1688, the Coronation Oath Act 1688 and the Royal Marriages Act 1772."
