Did I say they are not in Syria?? But your random and fake allegations about them were pointed out. So you agree that Reagan was the first one that funded them when Osama was one of the mercenaries battling against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan?? Can you not admit for once that you are wrong??

The USA did not topple Libya. They supported groups that were in a civil war that wanted to institute democracy. Otherwise, how many USA troops battled with the Libyans as you claim that they "toppled" Syria?? Explain whether it was a declared war on Libya and who approved of it?? Also remember that the big name in Libya is OIL, exactly that the same Trump moron is now sending troops back to Syria to defend the same resource called OIL!!
Who do you think supplied the arms and air strikes?

Lol. You are too funny. And by what right does the USA have to pick a side in a civil war? What USA law, or constitutional precident exists that says the President can order airstrikes and arms deals to one side in a civil war?

Reagan did that in Iran /Contra. Was that a good thing in your books?

What do you think that Trump is doing with supplying the Saudis with arms that they are using against Yemen, and Israelis against the Palestinians?? Are you supporting the use of such arms and ammunition. You are the funny one who pretends to support Sanders but parrots along his loyalty to Trump on a constant basis. Admit for a change that you got the whole Al Qaeda perspective all confused when you did not realise that they were previously funded in Afghanistan and not presently or recently in Syria like you allege.

Did I say that supporting Contras or anything that Reagan did in his funding was right??? Was just giving you the actual facts!!

You are so snowed. Al queda is in Syria. And they were armed along with Al Nusra by the USA.
Yup, Trump and the US are funding Al Qaeda in Syria to fight against ISIS, who came about after the US destroyed Iraq.
Trump has now abandoned fighting ISIS, instead declaring he's there to take Syria's small oil deposits.
Trump has also single handedly aided and kept MBS in Saudi Arabia's war on Yemen ongoing.
That Yemen war stands to create as many refugees as either of Iraq or Syria, making Trump's personal war just as stupid, institutional and corrupt as any US war before it.
But that one you seem to think is totally fine.

The big change is that instead of using the guise of fighting terrorism or importing freedom fries Trump is overtly just there for oil.
You really think that's better?

Senator McCarthy is laughing in his grave right now.

It's amazing how Russia is once again the Boogie man.

That's all you got? McCarthyism? lol...

You suck and blow on Russia (and almost every topic) from post to post.

You are an unprincipled, intellectually dishonest greased weasel and impossible to have a sincere, authentic discussion with.

False. I've clearly stated in against what is going on in Yemen. Period.

How else would you describe it when a two tour decorated war vet, now serving in Congress in her fourth term, including being vetted for the Foreign affairs, homeland security and military committees is slandered by a failed candidate as a Russian tool.

And the press and her party either agrees or doesn't defend her.

And they do the same to anyone who disagrees with a bad war attempt( including lies AGAIN) about WMD use in Syria.

You don't like my opinion fine. But if you are incapable of expressing yours without insult then who is the intellectually dishonest one?

My arguments stand on their own merit.

I have just come to the realization that you are just a more intelligent Trump. You disagree with anyone who challenges you, despite the merits of their argument. You dismiss people's authentic feelings and opinions by mis-representing them as statements of fact. Do you realize that everyone you engage is wrong? You don't accept anything people here say. Have you ever considered that when everyone is wrong except you....

Really? I have Infact agreed with people. On various topics.

But when it comes to USA politics I'm indeed in the minority on this board.

I believe that it's not party vs party anymore. It's now a class war there. That Obama was the first attempt at change, then Trump.

Now it's swinging hard left.

The income inequality, healthcare crisis, perpetual war doctrine, and all the attendant issues with housing, drug use, suicides, moves toward extremists, shootings, and more all stem from the corporate takeover of the two parties. Profits over people.

And the tame press (owned by five large corporations) in the bubble. Cheerleading.

Except people are asking up. The internet has finally achieved mass penetration. And with that other voices are now being heard. And more importantly can be supported financially.

That's why Sanders is leading in campaign cash without taking a dime in corporate donations. By a nice margin.

Populism is here to stay. Now it's which brand do you prefer. I'm betting in the next election it will be Bernie Sanders. The Dems may choose not to run him. But if they don't I think Trump wins again.

The little guys are tired of politicians bought by special interests. That's my point.

Please also notice at no time have I insulted you, told you you are stupid, or otherwise done anything but set my views out.

This is the politics forum. It's specifically so we can espouse our views. It's not like I haven't heard most of what is written here verbatim from numerous tv pundits and other tame press.

I genuinely just don't believe them anymore. Too many lies about what's best for the USA have been told to prop up an ruling class that rotates between the public and private sector. And cares not for the consequences to most Americans.

How do I know I'm not alone? The two biggest small donation recipients are Trump and Sanders.

Sanders also has the largest volunteer base. Literally now heading to the 2 million range.

So no, I'm very much not alone.

Buttigieg will be the next President. His poll ratings and ascent in politics mirror Clinton and Obama at this stage in the race. He is the only politician today that makes any sense.

Your boy Trump will be damaged goods after the Impeachment, if he isn't already. GOP losing lots of elections in the South - ouch. could be a bad omen for GOPers blindly following and enabling your Messiah boy.

Those elections in the south are imo proof that the Overton Window has moved enough to elect Sanders.

Buttigieg us the latest flavour of the month. Look at his lack of support with minorities.

He won't get the nom without it.

You keep backing Trump, despite his oil grabs and support of Yemen.
You're just as much of a warmonger as Clinton ever would have been.
If you really believed what you say you believe, you would have dropped Trump 3 years ago.
You're a farce.

Minority support will come with time once Buttigieg begins winning primaries. Dems always elect the smartest candidate (and young), which is Buttigieg. Warren is also extremely smart but Universal health care will doom her. Sanders is too old and too easy to brand by the other side as Socialist. In with the young, new and smart, it's Buttigieg's time.

I would suggest you look up who has the young people's support in the polls. Both white and minority.

Buttigieg is actually popular with old people. Old white people specifically.

He won one poll in Iowa. And spent several million to get there. But he has no on the ground across the USA multistate game yet. And the days of winning Iowa, getting money, and momentum are over.

This is going to be a marathon right to the convention.

This is the good news for you:

Sanders reclaims second place in new 2020 poll:

But the not so good news for you is:

Former Vice President Joe Biden still leads the pack with 30 percent support, a 4-point increase compared to his low of 26 percent earlier this month.
https://thehill.com/hilltv/rising/470911-sanders-reclaims-second-place-in-new-poll

But now the surprise front runner for Iowa is:

Pete Buttigieg becomes the presidential frontrunner in Iowa:

A November telephone poll conducted by noted Iowa pollster J. Ann Selzer for CNN and the Des Moines Register saw Buttigieg soar to 25 percent support in the state, with Sen. Elizabeth Warren in a distant second place at 16 percent. Warren was found to be essentially neck-and-neck with former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, who each received 15 percent support. The gap between these three candidates fell within the 4.4 percentage point margin of error, one which Buttigieg easily cleared.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-poli...-2020-iowa-poll-november-warren-sanders-biden

Please remember that Obama was very low down in the popularity polls until he took Iowa!!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2008_Iowa_Democratic_caucuses

Obama finally got the backing of the White Democrats. Can Buttigieg match that criteria with the Black voters??
