"UN estimates that 60 percent of the estimated 377,000 deaths in Yemen between 2015 and the beginning of 2022 were the result of indirect causes like food insecurity and lack of accessible health services. Two-thirds of the population, or 21.6 million Yemenis, remain in dire need of assistance. Five million are at risk of famine, and a cholera outbreak has affected over one million people. All sides of the conflict are reported to have violated human rights and international humanitarian law."

We don't hear much, if anything, unless one of our ships are attacked. Here are some numbers:

1) 377,000 dead
2) 14mm Yemenis need help
3) 5mm at risk of starvation
4) over 1mm affected by cholera

There were threads about it but they died out because nobody argued that the war was a good thing and people needed to die.

The war had a lot of interest when it could be used to show how evil Barack Obama was.
Once that wasn't on the table, it mostly dropped off the radar.

Except they weren't all agreement. There was lots of discussion about Canada supplying arms to Saudi Arabia but no one organizing street protests against Saudi Arabia. There wwas also disagreement with you trying to pretend that Iran wasn't supplying the Houthis and pretending the Houthis were interested in human rights. The was (and still is) no acknowledgement from you that the Houthis founding goal includes "Curse the Jews".

There were no endless series of tweets from randos with emotionally inciting images of dead Yemeni children and not the slightest interest, no concern over the 4+ million displaced people.

And there were posts by you trying to shift the focus to Israel with you repeatedly claiming were Saudi Allies even though their only diplomatic contact is through third parties..

Was Canada giving the Saudis the arms for free? Billions of dollars worth each year? All at taxpayer expense?
Proving the point. Instead of discussing the mass death toll in the last Yemeni Civil War, the obsessive need to try and make everything about Israel.

You made that connection, by observing there were no street protests against Saudi Arabia. Why did you bring that up?

As for the Yemeni civil war, it's just that. A civil war. I've already stated who's hands it's in. Not ours.
And more hypocrisy. You state the war in Yemen is not our business so does that mean you also criticize the people bitching about Israel for it not being our business?

Zionists win that title hands down.
Claiming to be against racism while backing genocide is about as hypocritical as you can get.
The Houthis are responsible for a big part of the 350,000 dead in their war against Yemen's recognized government, routinely steal girls, and enforce their repressive view of religion but because they also hate Jews, you're on their side.

US is benefiting to the tune of billions of dollars in their arms sales to Saudi Arabia. Their only actual "funding" was for humanitarian reasons!!
But the UN are pleading for at least $2.7 billion aid to help the citizens of Yemen that are displaced by this Civil war.

Putin is an evil guy for sure. He has no business to take over any Ukraine territory!!

Horseshit::

President Barack Obama said in March 2015 that he has authorized U.S. soldiers to give logistical and intelligence aid to the Saudis in their military action in Yemen, launching a "Joint Planning Cell" with Saudi Arabia.[8] This support involves aerial refueling, which allows coalition aircraft to spend more time over Yemen, and allowing some coalition members to home base aircraft instead of transferring them to Saudi Arabia.[9]

During the Obama Administration, The United States has also been criticised for allegedly supplying cluster munitions to Saudi Arabian forces. Cluster munitions are often considered unacceptable due their largely indiscriminate function and high risk of unexploded munitions. The United States is not party to the Cluster Munition Coalition, which bans the use of Cluster munitions.[10] Human Rights Watch argued in August 2016 that the United States' direct support of the Saudi forces, in particular in providing intelligence and in-air refueling has made it a party to the conflict.[11]

On 13 October 2016, the USS Nitze fired Tomahawk missiles against Houthi-controlled radar installations "in the Dhubab district of Taiz province, a remote area overlooking the Bab al-Mandab Straight known for fishing and smuggling."
[12]

As for what is and isn't Putins business, he has info that you and me are not party to, so no one can really make an informed decision on what is and isn't Putins business.

All you are confirming is that the USA has benefited with these Billion dollar arm sales to Saudi Arabia. Exactly what I stated and not just "gifting" Saudi Arabia for free!!

Putin is an evil person in the manner in which he is razing the Ukraine infrastructure, power stations during the winter and killing of thousands of Ukrainian families just to boost his own ego.
Otherwise, why should he get a free pass based on his "flawed history class" broadcast to the world just prior to his invasion of Ukraine.......oops illegal to call it an invasion in Russia?
Just a "Special Mission" that only nottiboi buys!!

So you think intel is free, logistics is free and in flight refuelling is free? Do you know a gallon of jet fuel from a tanker costs over $100? Yes the corporations benefitted as did Canada from selling the Armoured cars taht the Yemenis now own lol. The US provided a LOT of assistance in the slaughter. Saudi would not have tried it without them. And they still FAILED.

Where do you get your news from? The Yemeni PLC Govt. are battling the Houthis. Canada sold it's armoured cars to Saudi Arabia. Governments from both colours whether Conservative or Liberal approved of it. Saudi Arabia is committed to protecting the Yemeni Govt. from the Iran led Houthis. What is wrong with the Yemeni PLC Govt getting these Saudi Arms to protect them from The Houthis? After all The Saudis and The UAE are aligned with the PLC. What is the "FAILED" nonsense that you are referring to?
