for the kubrick freaks, if you have not already, go see Room 237, a documentary on his brilliant directorial techniques in the making of the shining. gives some great insight into his mind , conscious and subconscious. also alludes to 2001. a great great film. it was at tiff last year.

Actually, maybe it wasn't Mythbusters maybe it was a special on History called "The Real Saving Private Ryan" (or something like that) which was a documentary about the movies and (IIRC) also the brothers on whom it was based.

Still you are correct that it doesn't take that much water to make even .50 cal. fire non-lethal.
