Okay, I tried to post this on friday night but I guess it didn't work so here I go again. I finished work early on Friday and after hearing Kubrickfan's post about Barb's, I decided to stop by.
I got there after 5, there were alot of people there (most them left by 5:30). After that it was pretty quiet, since it was still to early for the firday night crowd, and the afternoon crowed had just left.
First thing I noticed was Barb's hasn't changed much since the new ByLaw the CR is still in a separate room (which I don't even remember seeing the bouncer enter the entire time I was there). Also there were a lot of good looking girls working there.
The first girl I took to the CR was a tall black girl (I forget her name but it sounded like Noel). It seemed like a situation where your experience could vary, but she spent a lot of time talking (which I think is much better than rushing you to the CR).
When we got to the back. I could see that the walls were much lower, however because of thet low chairs it was impossible to see who was inside, except when the dancers are standing. This girl was definatly enjoying what she does, and so was I
.
On the way out an older blond french girl with nice man-mades named Vanessa asked for a dance. When we got back in the CR, I noticed she seemed to be in a sad mood, so I didn't continue.
Overall, I Barb's seems like the best Ottawa SC since the renovations. I'm considering doing a MP or SP review next.
