I am miss linda Aji from Ivory Coast and I am contacting you because I need your help in the management of a sum of money that my dead father left for
me before he died. This money is USD 7.5 million American Dollars and the money is in a bank here in Abidjan the capital city.

My father was a very rich cocoa farmer and he was poisoned by his business colleagues and now I want you to stand as my guidian and appointed beneficiary and receive the money in your country since I am only 21 years and without mother or father.

Please I will like you to reply to this email so that I will tell you all the information so that this money will be transferred to you so that you will get me papers to travel to your country to continue my education there.

I am waiting for your urgent email.

Thanks.

Just ignore it. Screwing with these people may get you in trouble. There have been documented cases where they have murdered victims who lost money and then tried to get it back. Just do a google search for "nigerian scam victim murder" and you'll see many such incidents:

One of the nine, Jean Pierre Li Shing Tat, a Canadian resident of Mauritius, was found bound and shot twice through the head next to the motorway south of Johannesburg in June/99. He flew to South Africa in response to a "419" letter later found at his home. After a few days his family received a demand for $200,000 but the deal went wrong and he was murdered. Four others had survived after paying a ransom, and a fifth had been freed by police.
These are criminals you're dealing with. Piss them off enough, they might come looking for you.

Between a rock and a hard place
Here's a couple days of good reading.

www.419eater.com

These people messed with them and lived to tell thei tale. One guy even posed as a Priest who was willing to spend the Church's money to help the guy but he did not have access to the filing fees. He got the Nigerian scammer to send him about 100 dollars US to cover the Western Union fees and photocopying costs. Another guy pretended that he could only help the guy if he joins his religion and paints his chest red. The scammer fell for it and then sent photos to prove it.
