Anywhere there's a Strip Joint
So why not in Strip Clubs....it's still between two consenting adults, so why do they consider laws are being broken?

Ridiculous! Having to search and grasp for leagel reasoning when the obvious rationale for the decision - Who Cares, Let'em - is still too intimidating.

There is no such thing as obscenity. If activities within any establishment are properly and truthfully labeled, then only the people who are not offended will be witnessing & participating, and nothing is being forced upon the general public.

It is a small victory against tyrany, but I'd feel better if it rested on the reasoning that what a consenting group does behind any closed door is none of the "community's" business, much less a matter for the courts.

I'm not certain that I fully agree with your perspective...

...Mr. Hard Idle. There is such a thing as obscenity. The difficulty in defining it, in my view, is that only the individual themself can define what it is, and for themselves only. The question for Society regarding obscenity, is: Does it(something deemed to be obscene)harm us(Society at large)in any way? This recent decision regarding the private sexual behaviour of consenting adults is the right decision, in my view, because the behaviour at issue harms no one, as it occurs in private. Sincerely, Jon .

The perspective as I understand it to be Mr. The Bandit, as to why the rationale(that was used in the recent Court decision)does not apply for SP's and their clients in Strip Clubs, is that the 'morality' as viewed by the Judicial System(at least here in Canada)of charging money for any kind of sexual service, is wrong. Clearly, many of us here on this site may not agree with that perspective. Sincerely, Jon .
