When i use a search engine like googleit saves my searches. Such as if i search "car" next time i type in a word starting with C the list of all the c words i have ever searched comes up. Is there a way to stop this .

if using Internet Eplorer for browser, go to tools, Internet options , content, auto complete, then uncheck user names, forms, and web adresses(that stops auto complete for web sites you visit)
then click on clear forms and passwords

If using Firefox, use Tools, Options, Privacy and clear the Saved Forms (and searchbar), "Clear saved form data now".

Note, below that, you can also change the preferences so it won't save the data at all.

Isn't the 'problem' with Google, that Google saves 'all your searches' on their data banks in addition to your PC?
So while you may remove your searches from your PC, all those searches you ever made using Google are archived on Google data banks.

How do you clear hsitory in Internet Explorer? (other than clear history and deleting cookies & files). One still gets saved searches using Google & other search engines.
