Hi there~

I have been in the massage business for couple of months. I'm thinking of quitting and going into the escorts. I was wondering if girls do make essential amount of more money to be in the biz. I am in it for the money at the moment... and am seeking for the ultimate money source.

Where do you think is best place to work at?
Or would I be much better off independent?

Any information is appreciated,

Leanna, I think the most money can be made in the quickest fashion by becoming an independent escort. In order to do this you need to have a good webmaster to create a website for you and you need to have some good business sense in order to manage your client base. I have known girls in both the US and the UK who set themselves very specific financial goals, escorted for a year, achieved those goals, and then left the business--happy, reasonably wealthy, and satisfied. For what it's worth, that's my advice.

I will keep all your advices in mind. Some of you have PMed me as to who I am and where I work as a MPA. I'm sorry... but all those information are confidential at the moment as I'm sure I know some of you.

I'm looking for a few regulars that I can count on weekly basis. I need to be as discreet as posible.

As for going into escorting biz, I will most likely become an independent SP for money is what I'm after. If I were to belong to an agency, the share that I get is probably not much higher than that of MP biz.

In the past reviews I've been described as both "gfe" and "eye-candy".

I'm wondering where I can start... What the ongoing average rates are...

Also I'm not sure the final result of going independant will be more money in the long run. By the time you pay to have a site designed and hosted, pay for ads, pay for a photoset, pay for a separate phone line, chew up a pile of minutes on your cellphone replying to calls, wait to establish reliable clientelle, figure in the time you spend sorting/replying loads of time going through emails and add the phone calls on top of that. I'm not trying to discourage you but think you should be aware of these factors - I'd suggest talking to both independent and agaecy girls here. I agree with Astra that it isn't good to carry on about money too much - I realize that alot of the girls are doing this for that reason - but alot of guys needs the fantasy that you really like doing this.

Honey, although the money aspect of the business can be very lucrative, you have to enjoy what you do. The tone of your thread is "$$$$" and no client is going to want an SP with mechanical responses and dollar signs in her eyes. To build a regular client base, you are going to need to do a lot more than simply lie, spreadeagled on your back, thinking only of your bank account. You'll need to enjoy what you do and treat the people you come into contact with respectfully, as human beings not ATMs. If that is your attitude, I wholeheartedly agree with Oil Please, go stand on a corner somewhere and don't even think of becoming anything else but a hooker.

Your constant harpings about "money being what you are after" will definitely get you the clientele you "deserve".

Sorry, if I sound annoyed, but this money, money money crap gives those of us, who enjoy our work (and who are good at it) a bad rap.

As a hobbyist I have to agree with both Oil & Astra.............

Aside from mentioning that you wanted the almighty buck you passed up one of the biggest forms of advertising that you could have had..........

You state that you are currently a MPA and that you have had several good reviews, yet you will not tell us which MP you work at or who you are??????????????

Personally speaking, if your reviews were that good, the money issue aside, you had all the advertising you needed to become an independent.................

All you needed to do was post here that you, your name and which MP, is going independent and provide contact info, email address. The rate issue could easily be figured out by looking at a couple of other indy's websites.

While I have no doubt that, other ladies on the board, would have been more than happy to help you out you have now managed to alienate them..............

I do have a couple of suggestions for you on how to rectify your current situation.

I am not going to go into details here, though..........

If you take a step, or two, back and re-think your goals you may still succeed.

I believe, IMHO, a hobbyist knows the majority of SP's are doing what they do for the $$$$, but also because they enjoy it.

The secret do a good job is to find something you enjoy & are good at.

Those who succeed as a SP do not talk about the $$$$. They enjoy what they do and do it VERY WELL!

For those SP or potential clients who might have been offended by my $$$ comments I am sorry. I thought I should make my point as to why I wanted to switch to escort from MPA.
The reason why I have not revealed who I am as of yet is because of the uncertainty in my desire wanting the transition from MP to an escort.

If and when I become clearer of my thoughts, I then will choose to reveal myself here on terb.

Just out of curiousity, what percentage of an escort's earning does an agency get and does an escort get to keep a higher percentage as she becomes more popular (popularity= bargaining power)?

In most cases, I believe that the lady receives 60%, while the remaining 40% goes to the agency which in turn pays the driver for drop off and pick up.
