What's the best way to sell a used bike? I had two bikes back in May that we no longer use and want to sell.

I put one out on the street with a "For Sale" sign. Yes, it got stolen.

I placed an ad on Kijiji for the other one. I can see there's been over 40 views and got two replies but still no money.

Then you're asking too much. Lower your price.

If someone wants to see your bike and take it for a test ride, make sure they give you something of value, like their car keys etc. to hang onto while they go for a ride. I've heard lots of stories about people riding off without paying for it.

No, it wasn't my idea but no joke. Next time I'll put a "Steal Me" sign on the bike. Then maybe the thief(s) will think it is a trap.

Just make sure that its a real brand that makes real bikes that you are selling no Walmart or Canadian tire crap. Pinkbike is usually known for selling good bike brands. It's rare to see CCM or Huffy bikes there

No plans to retire. I hope to be in the saddle for a long long time.

Both the Haro and Giant were purchased at yard sales and I had thoughts of using them as "leisure" bikes but can never find the leisure time to do so.

Question: Any thought on the saddles with a hole in the middle?
