When was the last time somebody from the Tennis Federation looked for her ovaries? I know, don't ask and don't tell. Geeesssh!
Did anyone catch the MVA awards last night where Serena was a presenter and she made light of her tennis escapade by stating the next artist won't cross the line???? She thought it was funny and smirked, don't think there is much remorse there, heck, I don't think she even apologized, she justified her actions, but no apology.
Don't know if she is taking this seriously or not. Or if she has apologized privately for her actions or not. But in case you did not know, some of the presenters lines on these award shows are scripted for them.
Glad that you personally know this girl enough that you do not like her and know that she is a phony bitch. That's kind of cool.. What happened to change the relationship? Did she beat you at tennis or something?
The Williams sisters supposedly grew up in Compton, but they hardly seem ghetto to me. If anything they seem more like a cross between wannabe Paris Hilton and a Valley Girl.
Yelling at refs/umps is hardly new to the sport of tennis. Threatening physical harm is rare, stupid and unacceptable.
The Williams sisters have conducted themselves fairly well so far. I think Serena deserves the benefit of the doubt.. or not..
I'm gonna have to partially disagree with you here.
From what I've seen, Venus is the much classier of the two. Serena seems so full of herself. She is also condescending and disrespectful to her fellow players. After losses, rarely, if ever, does she credit her opponent. It is always that she didn't or couldn't do, not what her opponent did do.
I think this outburst fits right in with what my perception of her personality is. And now she's lying about not remembering.
I might have to defer to your wise assessment of her personality. I was trying to be cautious with my wording about how the Williams sisters have conducted themselves. I agree that Serena has been the more boorish of the two. Even Venus has not been all that gracious in victory or defeat at times.
I think that I was comparing her to sports figures in other sports rather than tennis. Say baseball players who are full of steroids or football players who seem to beat up their wives, or alcoholic hockey players etc...
Still, her behavior has not been great, but she had never really been abusive to the officials (as far as I know), so this outburst seems quite strange.

I was focusing on how they conduct themselves on the court. From the matches I have seen, neither of them have been very disrespectful to the officials. I know that Serena has had some run-ins with officials, but she calmed herself down pretty quickly...
He's ghetto and he just proved it, never liked him, phoney prick, tennis is an uppity sport, this hopefully will end his career, sponsors probably gone, nobody's gonna want to touch him.

My only concern is: Why on earth did you bother to play under the USA flag? Couldn't you have somehow played for Ghana or something? I mean, you'll never be accepted. The US Open crowd has always been against you lot since you started playing...period. Well, at least the Brits (Wimbledon crowd) aren't that way. Maybe you should have 'repped' Great Britain. lol.
