Could do what a guy in Australia did back in the 90s...wins a couple mil on a lotto, then tells his common law that the money will only screw things up between them. Tears up the ticket flushes it down the toilet. They break up 3-4 months later. A few months later she finds out he's got a new car, new boat, etc etc. As you might have guessed, turns out he did not tear up and flush the winning ticket.

She sues for half the money. I believe she got 1/3rd or something like that.
