Dr. Gillison is correct, Oral sex does not cause oral cancer. I never said it does. I am talking about the presence of HPV and the persons' inability to fight the virus. Most people are able to fend off the virus but some are not. In short, the virus must be present before it can "potentially" cause a problemCan you point out the factual evidence behind this because Michael Douglas later retracted his position, saying that he doesn’t actually know what caused his cancer and it could’ve been his excessive drinking and smoking.

Also, “Dr. Maura Gillison, a head and neck medical oncologist and professor at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, said “Oral sex doesn’t cause oral cancer, it’s a means by which to acquire an infection that rarely causes cancer.”
And here he is smoking a cigarette which is a primary cause of the type of cancer he had just seven months after cancer treatment.
