This question was inspired by the thread regarding the guy who wants to suppress his sexual desires which are affecting his social skills. If you could either have a sexually satisfying life but no real friends, or a life full of good friends but a pathetic or non-existent sex life, which would you choose?

Can't imagine how this kind of life is plausible in my world. My good
friends could not bear seeing me living in deprivation. They'd do
everything possible to furnish me with pussies catering to all my fancies.
Some people need to socialize in order to survive, they need people who care about them. I'm just wondering how many here would choose that necessity over the other necessity in question.
Anyone who has a lot of friends will be personable enough to have a decent sex life.
I think the question is kinda silly really. While I understand it's a hypothetical one I just don't see it as something possible except through the decisions of the person.
Any relationship, whether friend or sexual, requires effort. And really the same type of effort. The effort of caring about other people. Seems to me they would go hand in hand.

Well, in the poll you could choose one or the other, but you cannot have both in the end. So if you have a life full of friends, then you let's suppose that those friends care about your integrity so much that they will do whatever it takes to stop you from buying sex since it is so immoral to them. Something like that.
Or maybe you have tons of friends because you are a such a swell guy, but you are also so ugly so you cannot get laid.
I don't know about the rest of you, but im finding with age I think about sex less often. For this poll to be accurate you would have to be alone immediately after your done having sex. And 0 facebook or other social media friends as well, plus considering most of us spend more time talking to friends than having sex(especially with age). Are you going to masturbate to videos of groups of buddies reacting to superbowl games? and play 18 holes of golf alone? Id take friends over sex at this age, but maybe when I was a horny teen id take ithe sex over friends and make the most of it. lol
It is quite possible to have a large group of friends that you don't have sex with. For example, maybe you are a guys guy. Dudes love hanging out with you but that doesn't translate to getting girls.
Similarly a guy with good game and can pick up girls and get sex does not necessarily have a large group of friends. There is overlap between the two skills but also enough differences too.
Okay well then I guess it is tough. I'll take friendship because I can stroke like a champion.
It's worrisome that so many would chose sex over friends. You can always rub one out to get your jollies, (which I assume is still legit even playing by the stark either/or rules of this poll), but you are going to have one massively fucked up life without any genuine human connection.
Enjoy awesome sex multiple times everyday, and during your breaks run an AI computer program that simulates human connection (or perhaps better, log onto the TERB Lounge).

I would choose the friends route if it came down to it. I think everything sexually I ever wanted happened by early 20's so really got no regrets
