Having read numerous threads in various forums, a common theme seems to run through. Eventually everyone gets called a shill. I haven't yet, but i'm sure it's only a matter of time since i've decided to start posting reviews. Apparently it's the most hurtful thing one anomymous person can call another anonymous person on this board. Even though it's not consistently applied in all forums
So, I thought I'd start a thread so that all involved could have a proper definition of a shill and use it in a constructive manner such that we all benefit.

So without further ado, and apologies to Jeff Foxworthy:

You might be a shill when:

After posting numerous reviews of SPs or MPs, good, bad, indifferent, from all over the area, you write a top of the line review about your favorite professional in your area and some anonymous clod calls you a shill...

you just might be a shill.


Or this one:

You write a decent review citing: parking, bank machines, access, prices, and ratings and some mental midget still wearing his mother's panties and jerking off to internet porn calls you a shill.....

you just might be a shill


Or simpler still:

You give the phone number and address of your favorite spa...

you just might be a shill.

Or:

Someone who's never been to a SP or a MP calls you a shill....

you just might be a shill.


Anyway, I thought that that would be fun. Make up your own and keep this thread going.

i think it happens most when someone new comes on and just dives into a fantastic review without introducing themselves and saying hi. They just come on and blurt out cold hard facts without any other apparent reason for being here. It may be a writing style but usually those are the ones that are called shills.

I think shilling occurs when a newbie posts a first time, glowing review on someone we've never heard of before. It also occurs when a newbie posts a first time, glowing review on someone who has received negative reviews in the past.

Also, any review from Sheik is clearly a shill.
