I think its a scam for them to let you in the house so they can sell you a new furnace etc.

I heard one woman let them in and they sold her a new furnace which would take some obscene amount of time to pay off and they came 6 weeks later to install the camera .

Yeah, I saw that episode of Market place. The company is called "Ontario Green Savings"

Guy is a complete scam artist.

When I saw the episode, just for a laugh, I googled "Ontario Green Savings"

Their address listed on their website is:

100 King Street West
Suite 5700
Toronto, ON M5X 1C7


A dead give away. What kind of HVAC contractor is located at 100 King Street West in Toronto?

Make me laugh.
