(Raises hand).....well can't say I never have. Just not in T.O........had a few dinner dates with a few SP's from TO but nothing sexual(seriously).What brought me here? I'm not sure how it played out in google now, but I came across a pic of the classy and lovely BadKat.The pic led me here and I realized a very important life lesson......Your never alone. When I hobbied in Halifax this lifestyle was incredibly isolating. This was back in the days of Street walkers and phone book girls......back then this type of activity was one step above pedophilia in many peoples eyes.It's not even close of course but it was very isolating back then.
I come here for the conversation and understanding. There are some brilliant people on here, and I enjoy reading and conversing every now and then. I also know someday.....I'll start chasing the dragon again......it's in my DNA now and T.O will be one of my play pens...until then, we're all part of the Brotherhood in some shape or form.

Lots of good reasons were given, which all make sense. It would be nice if the non-hobbyists stayed out of the hobby reviews and posts though
Some retired hobbyists are like retired army generals. They never die and they never fade away.
I originally signed up because my girlfriend was a waitress at one of the Trinity strip clubs and someone on this board made it necessary to post a very derogatory review of her.
I signed up so that she could read the review. She was not online so used my computer to sign up.
I retained my membership when we split up and eventually read enough reviews to make me want to explore the world of MPs after a chance meeting with a couple of girls in Brampton.
During the famous blackout a little over a decade ago I ended up at a bar that was next door to a MP and a couple of the ladies joined my buddy and me on the patio for a drink.
Since there was no power the girls could not work, and the bar owner was selling the beer for $2 a bottle as long as you paid cash since he could not open the register.
He was just trying to sell off whatever cold drinks he had left.
Anyway, during our time chatting with the two girls the suggested that we check the place out sometime and that to help us in choosing a girl to see we should check out TERB.
It was then that I remembered my old TERB membership and I began my constant time perusing the board.
For the record, the girl that steered me into the direction of TERB and MPs was Cindy, most commonly remembered from Allure but she was at the spa which is now Obsession.

Well in my case, my ex-girlfriend was informed of comments about her on TERB which is why we checked it out and I signed up so we could read and react to the thread about her.
Not necessarily partake, just have someone who can verify you're an okay person. There have been some creeps trying to get in who aren't discreet.
Minimal research, as opposed to your silly speculation, shows that a small percentage of men visit escorts, and very small within the previous year.

Hear! Hear! I still don't know why the trolls infest the politics and lounge areas of this site. It is an escort review board, after all. So many megabytes wasted on useless horseshit not related to this hobby. Notice that those trolls never post reviews or comments relative to the hobby.
If you are curious, do a poll. I would be surprised if many members can truthfully say they have never partaken.

Plus, the Ottawa scene is beyond terrible. I'd be all for a reasonably priced p4p arrangement with a university student or similar, but the overpriced, 1 hour in and out is too transactional and impersonal for me.

Toronto and Montreal are by far the best in Canada, really good agencies for quite reasonable rates with really good ladies.
Vancouver sucks, downtown is expensive and largely travelling girls. Asian micros are good, but you have to travel. fs MPs downtown are expensive, getting by on travelling clients.
Winnipeg is dicy, there are no real agencies, locals are sketchy and the travelling girls hit and miss BP experiments.
Calgary is a bit better, a couple more asian micros that are ok.
Edmonton is similar, they have a couple of fs MP's but they are expensive with poor service.
Ottawa I never tried the MPs, but at least there are a couple and some agency girls and last time I was there a couple really good asians girls.
Niagara is sketchy as heck, careful of the crackheads on BP, but you can find the occasional ok BP girl.
Kingston has one fs MP, but its expensive and dodgy, otherwise its BP bingo.
And from my occasional other travels outside of Canada, we really have it good here.
Its cheap enough for us and pays well enough that we can support healthy and clean girls.
Legally its safe, and booking a lady from HPL or TDL or most other agency is as cheap as BP, but the girl will be there right on time most of the times, communications and discretion is great and for the most part its good, clean, fun.
For me this board was research, ye olde rub and tug was an amusing fantasy until i saw on a google map there were multiple shady holistics in my area (i was looking for a legit spa, foe my back!). I was curious if they were as shady as they looked, which led me to ****************************, the weirdo board populated by braggers and cranks, and i finally heard of the "red board."
The topics were fascinating, it was a part of the world i never knew existed, that alone appeals to me. I still may not have partaken except for some catalyzing events in my life. As a young man i didn't have to pay for the attention of beautiful women, now I find that I just don't have the time or interest to date.
I think people call this a hobby or a lifestyle because it is a small subset of the population, and there is some inclusiveness in talking about it. I found this board fascinating for months before I acted on the intelligence contained here. And for the record, ya'll have given me good advice twice now with stellar MPAs.
