i use foxfi which is now known as pdanet and it turns my phone into a wifi hotspot with it's 4g awesomeness. i average 74mbps for my net speed checker. unlimited data and it kicks ass. i use the razr maxx helluva phone.

I have not had any problem. What volume are you talking about?

There is a volume+ app I used to use with another phone to increase hands free speaker volume but with the n4 I have not needed it nor tried it.

I was riding the streetcar and I got a call. I could barely hear the other person. Maybe it was just bad reception?
When I'm watching a movie or a video on youtube the sound is not loud even when I put it at the max level.
I've looked into volume+. Unfortunately it doesn't work on newer devices (4.1+).
I've googled the problem and it appears that this is a common problem. A solution is to root the phone but I don't know how to do that.

After well over ten years with blackberry i picked up the HTC ONE. So far i love it, android stuff is alot different than the old blackberry.

Wouldnt mind some suggestions on must have android apps.

Forum runner is an awful forum browser but... It supports terb ;-)

Songza and rdio are kind of crappy but they are what we can get here in Canada since Pandora and play music are not available.

I find the must have stuff is already included for the most part.

There may be no new Nexus for awhile because Google has not announced any new release of android,.

i got a police scanner app. you can listen to any of the radios systems from police, fire, ambulance all across north america. it is pretty cool sometimes.
