Smoking Question

I was discussing the laws with smoking now and how they seem to be effecting the club scene with a freind of mine and being a smoker myself I may not see the other side of the coin

How many "hobbiests" feel uncomfortabe being in an enviroment where the girl has been smoking , be it outside or in a smoking room and does it effect your decision as to visit that club, mp ,or SP?

Using the Hamilton Strip as an example I see almost as many patrons AND girls outside as in sometimes

Being a non-smoker, I prefer to visit a non-smoking environment. That's the main reason to why I left my softball league.

As for your question regarding an SP smoking, the answer is yes.

Funny enough I thought there would be more debate on this , I know my conversation got a bit more heated but my freind has your veiw altho he is very sensitive to tobaco smoke to the point where if I have a smoke a few hours earlier he will notice when we first shake hands ,

That's because nonsmoking laws are here to stay.

Smokers can get as worked up as they want, the days of smoking in restaurants and bars are gone for good.

its about time , it will never be reveresed , and smokers are adjusting to the bylaw , I think they should stop producing and selling cigarettes , they are the most disgusting addiction ever , and those who smoke are weak .

This is very true , but the question still remains , do you base your decision on where to go dependant on if the girl you are seeing is a smoker or not , My freinds point is that he can smell ciggarette smoke even if the girl chooses to smoke outside and finds it disturbing , being a smoker myself I dont see it being as big a deal , we were talking about the Strip and how the girls needed to go out back for a smoke if they were working , my comment was that they could provide a smoking room for them , however he said he would NEVER attend a club where the girls could smoke in a room because he would still be able to smell it .

To me that veiw is pretty extreme and wondered how many others felt the same way

Yes

Absolutely it affects my decision about SPs. I look for declared non-smokers.

As far as restaurants, bars etc. are concerned, we went through a similar transition in NY. Everyone in the business predicted disaster for for their businesses. In the event there was barely a ripple, and many of us who are non-smokers now go places we never would before.
