I went to the link but nothing happened. I got a yellow screen with "Takagism since 1994" and that's it.

I am not a sadist, but you guys are giving away too much, and too quickly, of the "secrets" of the puzzle.

This guy in Japan obviously put a lot of time, energy and ingenuity into this "mystery" and you are demeaning his creativity and efforts. "Hints" are OK, but to just give it away as the Caltech page does, is disapppointing.

Hey Perry,

I don't think I'm demeaning his efforts. Some people don't have the time, patience, or inclination to solve the puzzle on their own, but would still like to experience it. If they want the solution, they can click on the link. I compare it to turning the page to find the solution to the NY Times Crossword.

It's not like I pasted the complete solution inside this thread. I think that would suck for everyone.
