We have had things approaching it that made places like South Dakota one of the US hot spots. Not fully controlled but it sure makes it a reasonable conclusion that jurisdictions with no mask mandates do poorly despite limited population density....
You need a study with two groups of people, one which always wears masks as recommended and another of equal size that never wear masks and both exposed to the same environment for the same length of time. If they have the same level of infection then you are correct. Otherwise you are just making assumptions that fit your agenda. You have never provided one iota of PROOF. Only faulty studies that DO NOT eliminate all variables aside from mask wearing.
And where in that study do they document that these free virions are responsible for any noticeable number of infections? Oh that's right, they don't.FALSE!!!!!!!!!!
Covid-19 can be breathed, sneezed or coughed out as free virus particles, in addition to droplets.
You really need to do some research before you pretend to know what you're talking about

There have been a bunch of studies that suggest Covid can be spread through free-floating viral particles. And still waiting for your evidence that free-floating virions are being transmitted and causing infection and not the aerosol droplets that are stopped by the mask.
Are you really this dense?? Its right in the articleAnd where in that study do they document that these free virions are responsible for any noticeable number of infections? Oh that's right, they don't
Hundreds of epidemiologists from around the world sent a letter to the World Health Organization (WHO) asserting that people can contract SARS-CoV-2 infection from airborne virions -- free virus particles floating in the air, as distinct from aerosol droplets

Which is why I said numerous times only N95 masks work, not those flimsy masks most people are currently wearingSO is wearing masks, so what's the problem? LOL
If airborne transmission is a significant factor in the pandemic, especially in crowded spaces with poor ventilation, the consequences for containment will be significant. Masks may be needed indoors, even in socially-distant settings. Health care workers may need N95 masks that filter out even the smallest respiratory droplets as they care for coronavirus patients.
Here is an article for you. Might be useful for you when you can't get your sticky fingers on a N95. . I believe John Hopkins is a reliable source unlike some of the bullshit nonsense some link up on here.Which is why I said numerous times only N95 masks work, not those flimsy masks most people are currently wearing
If you don't wanna wear a mask or only think N95 are acceptable or are not gonna get a vaccine for a year, fine that's your choice/opinion/decision.Which is why I said numerous times only N95 masks work, not those flimsy masks most people are currently wearing
There's a lot of articles like that...some people just refuse to believe them...it's good that the ant-maskers are in a minority and hopefully are not in a position of influence. Here is an article for you. The most recent recommendations related to prevention against the spread of COVID-19 include wearing cloth masks as an added measure of protection, particularly in areas of significant transmission.www.hopkinsmedicine.org
I do wear a mask, I just dont think they've made any difference in reducing the spread. If you don't wanna wear a mask or only think N95 are acceptable or are not gonna get a vaccine for a year, fine that's your choice/opinion/decision.
I just hope you are not in a position of influence over others...
Really, BJ, Adam the douchebag do not have a position of influence? Dude, you're ruining my morning man! There's a lot of articles like that...some people just refuse to believe them...it's good that the ant-maskers are in a minority and hopefully are not in a position of influence.
Much of the spread is from indoor gatherings. Also, many do NOT wear or handle their masks properly. Under the nose or as a chin guard is a perfect recipe for getting COVID and then claiming "but I always wear my mask". Also, I don't buy the schools are not a problem. Yes within the school it's controlled but these kids are gathering after school and recess and spreading it to one another and bringing it home. Yet, much is hidden as to not shut the schools down and have parents forced to stay home to babysit. When people meet up with friends and family they get a false sense of security. They remove the mask, have a coffee at the table and just like that, you get cases.I do wear a mask, I just dont think they've made any difference in reducing the spread.
Our 2nd Ontario wave is almost three times as bad as our 1st wave.
How anyone with a straight face can say masks have made a difference is beyond me
There are lots of qualified people with tons of credentials that say they do.I do wear a mask, I just dont think they've made any difference in reducing the spread.

I guess you've never been in a meeting, presented with a thousand papers a day before hand? You believe most sit and read every single page? It's more like a quick skim and off to the meeting. If you are an expert in your field, you adapt and roll with it. These folks are IN front of the camera, so of course they are given somewhat of a script as to not say the wrong gotcha phrase, like happened here because of a dumbass hot mic moment LOL.This is you guys in a nutshell
That's it, you've proven it...wearing masks makes no difference...This is you guys in a nutshell

99.9% all are quacks, have ulterior motives and maybe Doctors in title but not in virology and epidemiology experts. There are also lots of qualified people with tons of credentials who say they dont
