Has anyone else noticed that individuals can place their value at what they feel they are worth. This is a very personal service related industry and there is nothing wrong with a woman to ask what they what from their clients for their services.

Yes, some may price themselves incorrectly, both too high or too low, in the end guys have the final choice to see those women within “their” price tolerance/acceptability. You choose to participate in this hobby, their are costs involved but luckily the choice is huge so why fret about high prices.

For me this is part of the “entertainment” industry and I used funds that I could for this. The price increases pale in comparison to the overpaid individuals in the sporting world, many of which are not worth what they are being paid. But after they sign a long term contract, at least they still get paid or have received a huge signing bonus.
Well, it is not entirely correct from the bargaining theory perspective. For example, assume a girl is willing to work as long as the price is at least $150/h and the guy is willing to pay at most $400/h. What the rate should be? If the negotiation is not allowed and the girl makes an offer, she will demand $400. If the guys makes an offer, she will offer $150. If the negotiation would be allowed, the price will be somewhere between $150 and $400 depending on the proportion of buyers to sellers on the market. So, the problem with the high prices is the implicit assumption that negotiation of the posted price is offensive and should not be done, If, alternatively, it would be socially acceptable to negotiate the price, the price (even the posted price!) will be lower.

I remember Tatum. Fun times....🙂🤩
Young lady, you are dating yourself. Tatum was around maybe 10 or more years ago? At the time she shocked the industry by raising the price to $300. Another lady who set the price standard was Maya Blue who wouldn't see any gents over the age of 40 (she must be around 45 herself now). Not sure how many gents under 40 were able to afford her.

Anyway, the ladies are free to set their own prices. Capitalism at its unfettered best (or worse).

Ummmmm, and your point is? There is absolutely nothing wrong with having different price points in any type of service provided. There always remains a choice for someone to choose from.

My point is that there is no such thing as "price" as it depends who (the buyer or the seller) makes an offer and if counteroffer is allowed or it must be a simple "accept/reject".

Men thought for sure the pandemic would bring in an influx of new girls and the rates would come down. Hasn’t happened.
Girls are able to collect CRB until the end of September I believe...which may partly explain this.

In Montreal, where indoor dining has resumed, Restaurant owners can't find staff; some owners are even paying $17/hr to start for Dishwashers; that is how bad the labour shortage is.

Now, when school comes back into session in September and CRB ends maybe there will be an influx of girls. Or not. Nobody knows what is going to happen next.

Is $300/hr the new mainstream market level? It is beginning to look like it. Will it hold? We will see what happens in the next 6 months.

Garden of Eden and Toronto Passions have already moved to $300/hr. A few LL girls have as well.

Lot of ladies hate TERB and the whole "Hobbyist" mentality....but when the prices move to $300-$400/hour, TERB arguably becomes even more relevant for us guys.

Pure capitalism at its best or some will say at its worse. I remember Tatum was the first "$300 SP". She overpriced herself at the time and I think her rate came back down.
Precisely. Once more girls reenter the market or new ones join, it will be hard for girls to continue charging higher rates. There's a tsunami of immigrants (permanent and non-permanent residents) coming. Just wait for it. It will be glorious.

That is assuming that we don't continue to have multiple waves of Covid into the fall and winter; and that immigration/student visas resume at pre-pandemic volumes. I will keep my fingers crossed. 🤞

Yup I know first hand that dishwashers are starting at $17/hr. It is also happening here in our city.

The demographic between 17 to 25 has been totally demoralized and put into despair by the cyclical lockdowns. Most don't even have motivation to look for work or return to post-secondary education. (It is tragic!) This labour shortage will only be ameliorated by immigrants. Hopefully Eastern European and Latin American. "Indoor dining" 😋 will be juicy and tasty.

Yes, I fear that too. But once the flood gates do open, it will be of epic proportions! EPIC!!!

Ladies are free to charge whatever rates they want. The truly exceptional providers will still bring in tons of business but others will just hear crickets and see empty bank accounts.

And free to choose whoever they want to see or not see (e.g. no gentlemen over the age of 30).

It is no different than any other professional service. For example lawyers. Finally my friend, we have a topic in which we have 100% agreement.

The way I understand recent inflation is you should get a smaller one for the same cost.
