This is my first season following hockey, but I must say, I'm quite hooked. Many of of you know that I will not take appointments while the Senators are playing, and I appreciate your tolerance of my little quirk.

To that end, on the day directly following a Senators win, I will be offering discounted services on a first come, first served basis. Perhaps this will inspire some home-team cheering and such. I might even wear my jersey for you! (I'm not even going to make reference to MSOG...)

And of course there will be something tasty to eat.

I doubt that there's much problem with home-team enthusiasm. It's probably more of a problem trying to keep enthusiasm down, it seems to jinx them when there's too much hope for the team.

Wow, sorry B if your nose is out of joint, I thought my issue was random, but perhaps not by the others who have posted. I’m usually reluctant to make an issue of no shows, especially in Ottawa, where I do land with some frequency, and thus don’t want to alienate the very limited number of SPs. However, if someone had warned me of what appears to be a pattern, I would not have wasted my time. And lets face it, when I contacted you subsequent by email, your response was kinda lame…But yes, I have moved on, thanks, just commiserating with others and grumbling that I was not warned about the no-shows is all.

How about this: How about you form your very own thread (I'll even do it for you, just to be nice) where you can talk about my mishaps and mistakes? Gentlemen, I'm disappointed. This is not what this thread was intended for. Your complaints are off-topic. And for all of you who claim that I left you out in the cold, why not PM me and deal with it privately? Airing grievences in this way is surely indicative of classless behaviour.

I've known Barbara for almost a year now, and she is very reliable and responsible. The only time I've seen her have to do a 'no-show' without notice (like when she was injured in a motorcycle accident) was when her clients didn't leave her their contact info.

We could go into how often she, and other sp's, experience client no-shows. I suspect that would be a much more frequent occurence.

When was she injured? Last summer? I was going to meet her (through ashley madison actually). I didn't even know she was an SP then! That day I emailed her a joke "You Ain't No Hodder Back Girl", so I thought she got ticked off; hence the brush-off. But if an injury was the reason - cripes! Sorry Babs!

I have seen Barbara many many times in the past 24 months. I started seeing her long before most people on this board knew who she was. For me, Barbara has only been a no-show ONCE, and that was when something entirely out of her control came up unexpectedly. Because she had my mobile number and knew it was OK to use it, she called me to let me know. Yes, of course I was disappointed, anyone who sees Barbara regularly knows that the anticipation of time with her is great and so the let down is not so great.

Barbara is one of the most reliable gals in the city (not to mention sweet, genuine, gives a great backrub and is an excellent baker to boot)! Lets not slam her for occasional unavoidable problems that come up. It happens to everyone.

Why are some of us hurting one of the best that this city has to offer? (Yes, I know it is a public discussion board and people are free to post what they want to say. Lets just be responsible.)

I agree. I have had the fortune of meeting her today. She is an intelligent, sensual lady who really seems to love what she is doing. That I am. Doesn`t make me incapable of voicing an honest opinion (my own idea, not hers). She`ll be the first one to tell you that I am brutally honest with her.. If I think she`s wrong, I`ll tell her. I`ve witnessed her stressing out about not being able to notify clients about cancelations because they wouldn`t give her any contact info.

As others, who aren`t her BF, have attested... she`s not the type to just not show up without uncontrollable circumstances as some in this thread have implied. And she`ll always notify if she can.

Really? Not my experience, she had my contact info and did not follow-up.

This is supposed to be a Review Board, not an Escort Appreciation Board. If you discount the suck-up and boyfriend posts, there turns out to be a number of folks who were stood-up.

Hey Matt, I’m happy for you that your “Girlfriend” keeps you happy, and that she lets you know when she can’t make it, but I would have appreciated if someone who had been left in the lurch had posted something about the no-shows. That’s what these Boards are for.

Okay I will call in the expert SP. Alexxxis how many silly asses punters stood you up? Barbara how about you? Yes it happens and I think it is reasonable to assume that 'we' promise to show and leave them hanging more so than the ladies do. Afterall if they don't show they don't receive renumertion for their time. For us to not show it costs us nothing. Let this thread die.
