I think a good compliment is "Your's is just the size I like!". That phrase avoids the obvious bullshit quotient when they say your very average size dick is "so big!".
Another one I don't like, especially for a man of my advanced age, is when my "sleepy guy" wakes up to the point of being a "semi", and they say "Oh you're so hard!" That almost sends him right back to sleep.

I think that, if directly asked, a woman should give some kind of compliment to the man's size.

I have never been told the 'big cock' thing ( I am average at best ) but I did get few compliments like " You are a really handsome man" and "You are a wonderful guy".
