SPs which keep room dark during session

Had a few experiences with SPs (more in the past and one recently) who prefer to keep the room dark during the session
request to keep the room at bright light is turned down without any logical reason except they saying they like it that way.
never argued beyond that statement and continued with it as it was always after giving donation and returning from the shower when they said this preference, but all these sessions were Meh overall
Without seeing the SP in birth suit it is difficult to enjoy the session, and difficult to get hard (at least for me)

Have you encountered this? what do you think is the reason behind this?
I think the SP may be suffering from some skin condition or something related to their body which they don't want you to notice?
But it is not a good sign in any way

I find white light harsh and prefer more of a red light - I have a color changing bulb in my bedroom - Blue when I am getting ready to sleep and red when I am getting ready for sex

I've never encountered that, but I typically hobby during the day, so it'd be losing battle to block out natural lighting anyway.
I suppose many would say dimmed lights set the mood. Or perhaps dimmed lights make some clients easier to stomach?

Saves the SP agony of seeing missing teeth or plastic teeth.

In my experience, a lot of the Asian agencies kept the lights off or dimmed most of the time; it didn't made a difference whether I went on a date during the noon/afternoon or the evening/night.

I've never experienced a complete "room black out". However, I agree I am paying to visually experience the company of a sexy beautiful woman. I also appreciate some light to try to see if any open or visible sores, etc. Even though medically, I probably cannot see a a virus. Because you said the experience was "meh" I think the woman you saw does not enjoy this line of work, visually wants to block out of the clients. We are not all Adonis', I may be close, but not quite there

The sp may want to hide negative visual attributes such as needles tracks, scars, stretch marks, wrinkles , herpes, fat bulges, cellulite etc…

Many times (agency ladies) I have experienced this. I want the room reasonably well lit so I can see if the lady has sores or other red flags (she should be checking me out for the same reasons) and because I like to see what I've paid for! I have always asked to turn the lighting on a bit and 99% of the time the lady has been ok with it. Only Tiffany at Mirage refused me about 6-7 years ago.

I think some think it sets the mood like a romantic situation. Others maybe feel a bit less self conscious in the dark. I like the lights on as seeing her - usually darker ladies - look great in the light. I don't mind the odd jiggle, pucker, scar, stretch mark either. It humanizes the lady. Even the mommy signs I don't mind, as it means the woman is a giver of life and that means respect.
