spybots, anti-virus - programs

i remember someone giving me a program for spyware and it was great, but after reinstalling my computer, i dont think i saved the file ... SO...what do you recommend?

spyware?
anti-virus software (i'm usin Norton systermworks right now) but figured somethin better would be available.

as well as a firewall (although i'm using a linksys router), someone told me that, it's not enough.

You can pick up a Computer mag called PC Utilities ( printed in the UK) that comes with CD's full of freeware,etc. This is where I loaded my copies of ZoneAlarm, Ad Aware, and Spybot Search&Destroy. They work and they are free.
