I've driven by that home many times. Its right on Lakeshore East.

20 mill is actually cheap IMO. I think if it were by the lake it be closer to $30 mil

IMO that place looks ugly and cold. I’d probably h8 life if I lived there, but maybe with this type of mindset I wouldn’t have what it takes to earn that type of cash.

While the house is big it looks much larger than it really is on video. The fountain is about half the footprint of the house. It sits on a lot that has neighbours that are butted up to the property. While it is on Lakeshore Road, it is two blocks away from the lake shore.

I know a guy that lives in a house that big. When you live in a house that is as big as living in four large houses, you get the maintenance cost and trouble of maintaining four large houses. He tells me he has used the $8000 pool table in the pool table room only three times. The indoor swimming pool stinks of chlorine. His lawn and grounds cost is over $100k a year. He is out of the house working 10-12 hour days to support the house. The guy that built the house lived in it for less than three years before he had to sell out because he could not afford the time and money to maintain it. These fantasy mansions gets flipped every 3-5 years.

If you made me live in one of these mausoleums I would have to walk around strapped all the time with my Browning High Power for fear someone would break in and Manson me.

BTW- there seems to be a mausoleum on the property in the video @ 1:24
With the mansion, the $100k annual groundskeeping tab, and 10-12 hour long work days, does his wife still complain that he doesn't make enough money and doesn't work hard enough? Does she cheat on him? Is their sex life lifeless?

Yeah, it's gotta have a lakefront at that price point.
What areas have the best view of the lake in right in your backyard?
There are a ton of places that have good waterfront views - just follow Lake Ontario. I saw an ad for a lakefront home in Grimsby for a fraction of that price - and it’s just 25 minutes west on the QEW.

I have a friend who has a modern waterfront estate home also in the west end. When you’re in his backyard, it feels like you’re at the cottage. Lake Ontario is just so expansive.

I’ll never be able to own a real waterfront home - maybe just a condo with a lake view.
