SDM definitely has a smaller user base I tried it but don't remember how much I paid (if it was a credit system likely used it up really fast). I don't think seeking is that expensive. That's when they dropped the "Arrangement" from their name, I think they wanted to rebrand as more of a mainstream "elite dating" type site.

I wouldn't say they're dead, they're still the brand name for sugar dating, but there's more competition in North America and Asia.

For guys new to sugaring, a couple of tips would be:

- search by recently active. Some girls create accounts and leave after a few days
- avoid anybody who is looking for "virtual/online/not ready to meet" - some are actually really new, but a lot are just looking to sell pictures
- If they ask for money upfront or eTransfers, avoid them. I've done Uber trips for people

"Gifts" are all over the place. Just stick to your guys. Show some polite interest in them (e.g. game) then ask to have some adult fun but you want to want to first meet for a drink or coffee, or bubble tea, etc. Then after that meet, go fuck! Also as to rates, do not exceed $400-$500 for as long as you guys hang out. I guess if you just want to do the deed and split, negotiate less up front, or at your meet.
