Outside from North America, Seeking is probably still better just because of the name recognition and more members. SDM is great in Canada and USA, though, it's cheaper, and you don't get banned if if you try and negotiate on the site, though lately I've seen some profiles on Seeking that have PPM spelled out funny like "P* PM"
On the other hand, you see a lot of girls on both sides, and a couple of familiar faces from other places:

Question for people who travel. Do you scope out pots before you travel? I am travelling now more and now really the only time I spend in Toronto is mid-late summer. Was thinking of giving SA a shot but given the effort people have said, I'm wondering if I should start like a week or two before I travel. Also is summer a better time to meet some on these sites?

I’ve used Seeking for several years with good success, and also had a profile on Secret Benefits for a while (until I learned my lesson lol). After reading suggestions in this thread I set up a SDM profile a few days ago, but the photo requirements have me a bit confused. Apparently you have to have a full face pic as your main profile pic? WTF?? According to the girls I’ve met in the sugar world, at least half of the guys on the sugar sites are married, and there is no way most guys like me are putting our full, clear faces on there for everyone to see. Full pic to the girl once you start to chat?, sure, but my main has always been either blurred or just a torso shot of my well dressed frame. It’s never failed me.
Why would SDM want to exclude married, and rightly cautious, guys from being front and centre on their site? And does anyone know of a work around to the problem?
What you can do is first upload your face pic and then get it verified (5mins). Afterwards, you can put your 'torso' pic as the main photo and private your face pic. That worked for me.
