Ah, probably true save perhaps for the Keltic Lodge. However, there are other advantages such as the scenery. The Five Fishermen in Halifax is a decent Restaurant. A number of years ago, I saw someone's au pair (or I shudder to think daughter) out with the family and younger children there dressed in the most hookeresque outfit I've ever seen in public (short skirt, black stockings, garters a stretch of bare thigh)!

Yup..Halifax MANY MANY times.

This is work land..Not Vacation spot....
I'd say the senery in the Carribiean beats NS ANY day.

Good Posibility. I think I prefer Playa del Carmen to Cancun....
But I like the Mexico/Carribeian mix of the Yucatan side!

Desire is about 20 minutes outside of Cancun, totally isolated in the jungle. So it really makes no impact where it is, other than the 20 minutes drive from the airport.

We only go to hot-spots in the summer, because we like it really hot, it is not worth going for us if it is only going to be 30. Las Vegas in July is best, 45 on a good day.
