I think I made my point. To discount a team that finished first in its conference as a lefit SCF contender is bias.
As I thought, you misinterpreted my point.

My point was that using the Leafs as a barometer of a team's cup worthiness (as badangel chose to do) is a poor choice. Saying that any team, Habs or not, definitely has a better chance than the Leafs is not saying much.

Can't see how anybody at all could disagree with that. After all, it's more a put down of the Leafs than anyone else. Even a Montreal fan should have appreciated that instead of being typically overly defensive.:p

haha .. I saw my nick in bold
way to make a girl feel welcome : p

um.. I am the HEAD of the Summit ; )

Well my apologies.. but I am a hardcore habs fan for life and.. I stick with my reasoning that.. yes indeed.. I do believe that the Habs will have a better season than the leafs

vive Price.

Now.. I am not delusional.. there are a lot of Habs players that had REALLY excellent years.. lord knows that on that team.. one good year doesn't lead to another (Kovalev has shown this.. as has Koivu.. and well Ryder .. nuff said)
Nonetheless.. I think they are young, fast.. and well the goalie is hot ! (sorry.. I had to add something insipid in there..)
Habs 4 life hehe

I made a bet about when Sundin would be signing.. should he sign with the Laffs I will be running around in lingerie for a boy.. hmph

well i would have chosen a walk in the park, you in your Habs jersey, me in my Leafs jersey, us working up a good angry passion while eating ice cream then taking you in the bushes and smearing your ice cream all over your stupid jersey while licking it off your neck, ears and lips while you do whatever it is you sexy Hab chicks do. Ok that was just off the cuff and spontaneous but i like it...Wanna bet? ;)

Anywhere there's a Strip Joint
He's suppose to announce by Friday where he's signing...personally I don't think he'll be back in T.O., and I don't think he'll want to go to Montreal.

my guess is he's retiring with his hot fiance and going to stay in Sweden at his apparently amazing "cottage" where he can fish and get fat and relax. If its taken this long to decide after knowing all his otions for this long, im sure he's decided to retire. Just my thoughts and my hopes for him and me as a Leaf and Sundin fan

I love this article about it all and to me says that he will retire

this to me says it perfectly
"He has proven by his indecision that neither money nor playing for a contender is a motivating factor in all of this. Otherwise he would have made the decision the moment either the Canadiens (contender) or the Canucks (money) made their offers." Ken Campbell The Hockey News

sorry badangel

and its one mans opinion (well maybe more than one but)

"As far as Montreal is concerned, Sundin is apparently quite honestly having trouble seeing himself wearing a Canadiens sweater after all his years with the Maple Leafs. If so, it’s a noble gesture in an era when most players see themselves as nothing more than hired guns who have no problem turning their backs on their teams for the right price.

But if you believe some of the whispers out there, at this stage of his career, Sundin has no interest in going to a team where he will be placed under intense pressure to lead a team to the Stanley Cup, which would undoubtedly be the case in Montreal, where Sundin would instantly be installed as the Canadiens’ No. 1 center ahead of Tomas Plekanec and Saku Koivu.

Those who know Sundin maintain he is content with winning the Olympic gold medal in 2006 and three World Championships and doesn’t believe his NHL career needs to be defined by whether or not he wins a Stanley Cup. And with $74 million in career earnings, he doesn’t see the need to pad his bank account with the ridiculous amount the Canucks are willing to pay him."

Same article and again just his opinion but I agree and hope that Sundin retires. This year Wendel and Dougie's banner next year Mats up in the rafters of the ACC

Shit or get off the pot already...

...This Sundin Kabookie dance is only out done by the Green Bay/ Brett Favre circus....although I'm getting close to calling Sundin a Brett Favre Jr.....

Both aging players that are screwing everyone around....really just attention whores IMHO
