Because a "relationship" isn't defined as necessarily something exclusive and meaningful and longing term. You are in a "relationship" with ANY person you interact with on a regular basis, whether you are fucking them or not. I'm not exactly sure why people think punishing or embarrassing the other person in personal relationships is the thing to do. Again, just as it did then, it strikes me as childish. Insofar as what I would do - it is the lie that is the problem. As said by others...lying is a really big problem in a relationship of this sort.

However, as others suggested, it doesn't have to be the end of things. You now know who you are dealing with. If you just act accordingly, you can still derive the benefits you seek while "protecting yourself" in whatever shape or form you deem necessary, now that you know that this person is untrustworthy.

First of all I did not start the confrontation, he came at me. He would not have dared to ask me to shoot, I had already disarmed his driver... that is how I got the Glock18... then again stomach shots hurt like hell and are not fatal, certainly not with ambulance times in TO. Back in those days, as a fresh immigrant I did not give a damn about his people, I had mine too, all military trained, impoverished, working crappy jobs to survive.

That is what our great military leaders fail to grasp in places like Afghanistan too. Act like an A-holes with people who do not have much to lose and it does not matter how many of their own people they have, they will pay the piper unless they learn respect.
