Sometimes, as one goes through the busywork that fills our days, an event or circumstance makes one stop and and take stock.
Such a situation recently took place in my own life; an implosion, of sorts, that forced me to halt and ask questions which I should have been asking a long time ago.
It's too late for me to change things now, so the best I can do at this point is offer up a warning to those who may read this thread.
Take a moment today - right now - and be aware of all you have, and all those people who have made you who you are.
Call your mum or dad. Reach out. Apologize. Forgive. Hug your kids. Tell your mate that you love them.
Be thankful, for you can lose it all in a heartbeat.
